About Clarabeth Grossman
This event is held in memory of Clarabeth Grossman, who battled courageously for two years against ovarian cancer until her death in May 2006 at the age of 55. Clarabeth was long time resident of York, PA and worked for the York Suburban School District for 19 years. Clarabeth was instrumental in implementing the first ovarian cancer run/walk to be held in York to raise awareness. She attended the first two events, and today, the NOCC and her family, along with local volunteers, continue the event in her honor and in honor of all women and families affected by ovarian cancer.
